Sunday

Hey there.

I didn't write a post yesterday.  Instead I finished up Friday's.

Yesterday I was busy.  Not sure what got into me.  I found a Bitty Baby stroller for grandbaby #4 on Facebook Market place, so we got up and out and went to pick it up. When GB#4 was here last Sunday she was intrigued with the Cabbage Patch I have.  We gave her a Bitty Baby when she was born, and D#3 says she keeps it by her bed.  I"m hoping to make friends the next time we visit - she is still unsure of me.

Then I started playing Suzy Homemaker.  I baked some chicken that had been in the freezer too long.  I used part of it to make a chicken pot pie for dinner, and the rest to make some chicken salad.  I also made a pan of brownies (from a box - don't get too excited!) with peanut butter chips.

Then I decided I had put off for too long a sewing project.  Seriously, the receipt in the bag of fabric said I bought it in 2014.  I will try to upload a photo of it.
I am addicted to tote bags.  If I see one in the store my first thought is I must buy that.  I've learned that it's an addiction and talk myself out of buying.
Anyway, this one only took about three hours to cut, sew, and finish.  I really like it.  Only thing missing is some sort of closure.  Still thinking about that.  I need to stop at Joanne's tomorrow to get some more fabric.  I'd love to make a bunch to give away. (Yeah, I always plan big and then don't follow thru) and now that I've done one the rest will be easy.

Today has been uneventful.  Didn't get up until 9:30am because the dog was insisting. Made breakfast - scrambled eggs with some sauteed onion, and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning.  Two pieces of toast, one to eat with the eggs, and one with strawberry jam.  and some sausages.

We met D#33 and her wife at Cracker Barrel. Wife has been making and selling dinners every other Sunday.  She made BBQ chicken with potato salad and green beans, corn bread and cookies. Honestly, it is so nice to have someone else cook.  It was hot, and baby was asleep, so it was a short visit.  Came home and ate since we didn't have lunch. Soooo good.  Then I packed some up for my MIL, and added a piece of potpie from yesterday and some chicken salad.

After we delivered it, I started working on my July newsletter.  I hope it's okay to copy off tomorrow when I'm at the office.  I am going to hand out the devotionals and while I"m there I can use the copier.  I still need stamps....

I guess it's time to start thinking about dinner.......

and how to find some audience for this thing.

Ok. Enough for now.
Stay safe at home!

Smooches,
Karen
